Alex Horvitz
Chief Program OfficerAlex is Put Me In!’s Chief Program Officer. She has been with Put Me In! since its founding in 2020 where she began as the Head of Marketing and Communications. She then shifted her focus to managing the development of PMI!’s software platform as the Head of Product. She completed her MBA from Harvard Business School in December 2021. Before business school, Alex worked as a consultant in Accenture Strategy’s Communications, Media, and Technology group. She completed her undergraduate studies at Tufts University with a dual-degree in Economics and Psychology and a minor in Communications. Alex was a multi-sport athlete from childhood through high school – swimming, soccer, and lacrosse. Participation in sports as a child gave Alex a sense of self and helped her build lifelong skills in leadership, teamwork, strategy, and focus. Overcoming injuries in sports built resilience. The impact of sports on her life and the opportunity to bring access to sports to system-impacted children drive Alex’s motivation and passion for Put Me In!.
Alok Pandey
CFOAlok is Put Me In!’s volunteer CFO. Presently his ‘day job’ is CFO of Twingate, a VC-backed SaaS enterprise security company focused on remote access backed by leading investors including Accel, 8VC, SignalFire, and Wndrco. Previously, Alok was VP of Finance & Corporate Development at Pango – a $100M+ revenue security software business. Prior to Pango, Alok was a Vice President at Vector Capital, a $3.5+ Billion technology focused Private Equity firm based in San Francisco. Alok sat on the Board of Directors at Emarsys, a growth-stage SaaS email marketing & analytics business. Earlier in his career, Alok also worked at JP Morgan as a technology investment banker and at TCV as a growth equity investor. Alok grew up playing sports (tennis, basketball, soccer) and also volunteered in Latinx communities in Santa Cruz, California where he grew up. He has always had a lifelong passion for mentoring youth as a coach and tutor, and he joined Put Me In! to further his passion for sports, volunteer work, and mentorship.
Brynn Gasparino
AmbassadorBrynn is one of Put Me In!’s Ambassadors focusing on relationship building with the caregiver and CIPs. When she is not volunteering with PMI!, she is an Account Executive at Upwave, a marketing analytics company, based in San Francisco. Ever since Brynn graduated from The University of California, Berkeley she has worked in research, due to her fascination with the impact that humans can have on one another.
During her four years at Cal, Brynn competed on the Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse team as an attacker. She is very appreciative of athletics, as it has lead her to many opportunities in life but more importantly to the opportunities that it has brought her to give back to the community.
Ike Nnadi
Board ObserverIke is a Put Me In! Board Observer. Ike recently completed his JD/MBA from University of California, Irvine School of Law and Paul Merage School of Business. Currently, Ike serves as the Aide to the Senior Vice President, Business Affairs at The Kraft Group and works closely with Robyn Glaser to facilitate various business projects as well as strategic and philanthropic initiatives for New England Patriots football team and the Kraft Group organization at large. Prior to graduate school, Ike received his Bachelors degree from Ithaca College while double majoring in Economics and Sports Management.
Sports have always been a passion for Ike. Sports provided Ike the ideal venue to make friends and develop in key areas including teamwork, developing strategy, and overcoming obstacles. Ike attributes much of his personal and professional development to the lessons that sports taught him and is committed to Put Me In!’s mission to increase access to sports because he believes resources should not be the obstacle that stands in the way of any child drawing similar lessons from sports.
Jenelle Mezzetti
Administrative LeadJenelle is PMI!’s Administrative Lead and a strong believer in team sports. Jenelle played sports beginning at a young age and throughout high school, including soccer, volleyball and field hockey. Being a part of a team helped her navigate through adolescence and the skills learned through team sports have easily adapted to her personal and working relationships as an adult. Sports not only offer a sense of belonging and purpose, but teaches leadership, discipline, accountability, and how to push yourself mentally and physically. Jenelle is excited to be apart of the PMI! team!
Khalid Cannon
Donor & Development LeadKhalid is Put Me In!’s volunteer Donor & Development Lead. Presently he works as a Strategy Execution Consultant for BTS in Austin, Texas. Khalid graduated from Yale in 2017, where he was a three-year starter on the Bulldogs’ Offensive Line and studied Chemistry, Geology, & Natural Resources.
Khalid is passionate about the Put Me In! mission because of his own experience as a CIP. On the field or in the gym, Khalid was able to forget about his personal life issues and focus on competing with others and himself. He benefited from an extended support system that provided the resources that Put Me In! intends to offer to children.
Mike Blodgett
IT LeadMike has been employed the past 8 years by Cross the Divide, a managed service provider that specializes in bringing enterprise class tech solutions to non-profits. The previous 14 years he was a math and English teacher in the Chicago area. Mike currently lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Erin, who is a dual immersion Spanish third grade teacher for the St. Paul Public Schools. His hobbies include custom desktop computer builds, hiking, games of any kind, and being an overly enthusiastic cat fancier.
Peter Gerson
AmbassadorPeter Gerson is a volunteer Ambassador. Presently his ‘day job’ is Associate of Project Finance for Forefront Power, a renewable energy developer in San Francisco. Outside of his career, Peter coaches football for Mission High School, in the San Francisco Unified School District. Here he focuses on bringing a positive influence to the lives of his players through their shared passion, as well as supporting players in their college recruitment. Before coming to San Francisco, Peter graduated from Yale University with a degree in Economics and Energy Studies while playing tight-end on the varsity football team.
His attributes his most impactful developments to have come through youth sports, where he learned the importance of effort, commitment, teamwork, and perseverance. His admiration for his own coaches started his path toward youth development and his ambition to make the same types of events that shaped his own life accessible to anyone who seeks it fuels his dedication to Put Me In! and its objectives.
Spencer Tyson
AmbassadorSpencer Tyson is a volunteer Ambassador for Put Me In!. Presently his ‘day job’ is Senior Research Analyst for Minard Capital, an Alternative Asset Raising Consultant in San Francisco. Outside of his career, Spencer serves on the Board of Directors of LeapYear, where he helps improve early age literacy and college preparedness in underserved communities. Before coming to San Francisco, Spencer graduated from the University of California, Irvine with an MBA in Finance. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelors in Economics from the University of Arizona.
Spencer attributes his personal development, collaborative skills, and lifelong friendships to his time as an athlete. Spencer played Runningback for the Colby College Football team, before transferring to the University of Arizona where he played Wing on the Wildcat’s Rugby team. Due to the positive impact that his athletic career had on his development, Spencer is looking to pay it forward by helping provide those same opportunities to the CIPs of Put Me In!
Anthony Farias-Eisner
FinanceAnthony is a volunteer on Put Me In!’s Finance Team. He is currently an Associate Director at ArchiMed, a $1BN+ Private Equity firm focused on investing in Health Tech businesses operating out of Europe and North America. Prior to ArchiMed, Anthony was an Investment Professional at MacAndrews and Forbes and Investment Banker at JP Morgan in New York. Anthony holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. While at the University of Chicago, Anthony competed as a Varsity Track Athlete for all 4 years. He was also a founding team member of Moneythink, a non-profit dedicated to teaching financial literacy and mentoring underprivileged youth.
Anthony is passionate about the role sports played in his upbringing not only in the values it taught, but also in the opportunities it provided. He is excited to join the Put Me In! Team to contribute his experiences in Mentorship, Sports, and Finance to help drive Put Me In!’s mission.
Nicolas Oliveira
AmbassadorNicolas Oliveira is a volunteer Ambassador for Put Me In! Presently his ‘day job’ is sharing positivity and building healthier lifestyles through his startup, Cuia Açai. A free spirit, entrepreneur, and retired 3x Olympic athlete, Nic’s humble beginnings and life changing experiences in Brazil taught him the importance of giving back and a positive attitude towards life. After many initial challenges and against all odds, Nicolas pursued a swimming scholarship at University of Arizona, earning a B.A. in Economics while building a college and professional career filled with accomplishments, including Olympic Finalist, NCAA champion, Pan American champion, South American Champion, World Championship Medalist, Brazilian National Champion.
